Comprehensive Brand Analysis

We analyzed over 200+ data points for Michael’s brand and best-selling products.

Our analysis goes way beyond typical brand audits; we invest $13,000 monthly on payroll for these in-depth brand evaluations, each costing approx $1,000 internally.

This comprehensive review included identifying keyword opportunities for organic rank improvement, evaluating product offerings and COGs optimization opportunities, conducting in-depth PPC and creatives analysis, optimizing Amazon fees, identifying low-hanging fruit for quick wins, and much more.

With all the findings of the analysis, we finalize our strategic growth plan.

Our goal is to identify the projects that have the highest upside based on the brand’s situation.

For Michael’s brand, it was the following:

Implemented PPC Systems and Processes

We identified that all CPCs and PPC costs for Michael were constantly increasing, so we implemented our complete PPC management system in his business. 

This significantly improved PPC performance and made marketing spending more efficient, mostly by:

  • Focusing on increasing top-of-search placement spend 
  • Focusing on increasing spend on higher CVR keywords
  • Isolating high-performing keywords
  • Eliminating wasted ad spend aggressively, reallocating the budget to push the top performers

This approach reduced TACoS by 5%, optimizing the return on ad spend, which led to a significant extra budget for our program’s growth phase.

Main Image Optimization

We identified a big opportunity in optimizing specific content elements in Michael’s products – focusing on his main image, to boost CTR.

At the same time we did the PPC project, we started to work on this as well. 

We ran our main image optimization framework with Michael for his top products. 

After conducting in-depth research and identifying 10 optional pictures, we narrowed it down to the top 4 tests for his main images. 

Using our internal A/B testing framework with tools like Pickfu, Amazon A/B Testing tool, PPC, and other Amazon reports, we identified the best-performing images, increasing CTR by more than 37% for his leading products.

This led to increased sessions & sales, profits, and organic rankings

Focused on Organic Growth

With the PPC done, we moved our focus to grow his leading products organic ranking.

We started by analyizing different reports to find the biggest opportunities: 

  • The Search Query Performance Report
  • His PPC data
  • His current organic positioning 
  • His direct competitor’s current organic ranking

When we were done, we identified keywords with high growth potential for his leading products. 

We then implemented a detailed launch plan based on the proven system we’re using for all our other clients to push their products to the top of the page (no black hat tactics) to improve organic rankings and increase market share.

We were able to move his main products from position 20-30 to the top of the page. To this day, he’s still in the top 3 in keywords with search volumes as high as 150k in H10 or 2k in Search Frequency Rank in Brand Analytics. 

Overall, his main product now dominates all relevant keywords, consistently holding the top 3 positions.

Results

We started working with Michael on November 23 when his brand was doing the following numbers:

  • $538k in monthly revenue 
  • $167k in monthly profits

After implementing all the projects above in 5 months, on March 24 we’re at:

  • $1.6m in monthly revenue 
  • $584k in monthly profits

In less than 5 months of working on the right projects and executing them correctly, we were able to more than triple his business.
